Blend of Malvasia and Trebbiano Grown in Italy
Light and dry Lightly acidic
Flavors/aromas: Citrus (Malvasia) and floral (Trebbiano) notes
Pairs well with: White meat, fish, blue cheese, cream sauces, and butter pecan ice cream
Winemaker’s Note: Papa Joe likes to note that Frascati is called “The Wine of the Popes” because of a legend that it ran from the fountains of Rome during the coronations of Pope Clement X and Innocent X, both in the 17th century. Our Frascati won Bronze in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
