Flavors/aromas: black cherry, licorice, tobacco, and black pepper

Pairs well with: medium to sharp cheese, cured meat, ribeye, margarita pizza, pasta e fagioli

Winemaker’s Note: Papa Joe says this blend is a popular combination in Italian immigrant “Dago Reds,” owing to the familiarity with Sangiovese and the enhanced body and tannins that Cabernet Sauvignon adds to it.
